I had so much fun being outside all day for field day on Popsicle and water duty! The kids had so much fun!
Someone suggested these should be turned into plush toys, and I agree! Guess what…it can be done! Check out this website: http://www.childsown.com
I do love to end the year with a fun and silly project. One of my favorites is the crazy hair day portraits being made by the 5th graders. Most are still works in progress, but here is a sneak peak!
If you don’t know the work of author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds, go to the library and check out some of these books immediately!

I just bought the above books for my daughters. I love them and read them to my students every year!
Today I got quite a few beautiful pieces of art that students made at home and brought in to me, but this 1st grade sculpture totally rocked! Thanks, Penelope!
I’m always on the lookout for art themed books. Today, this one caught my eye….
Speaking of books…my five year old and I started off the morning with a coloring book session. Usborne books have the coolest coloring and doodle books for little artists (and big artists too)!
More 5th graders finishes their woven bracelets. Mona Lisa approves! 👍
More kindergarten monster fun!
I had some art room visitors today at lunch…my daughters!
