The 2nd graders are learning about the Duomo in Florence, Italy designed by Brunelleschi. This week, they are creating their own domes using air dry clay (some used mode magic) and toothpicks. The best part was seeing the students help each other create their structures!

I had to get a sub for the morning one day last week, and the students were given the following drawing prompt: The Day the _________ Came to Life in the Art Room. There were some pretty funny results! Great sub lesson plan for the art room!
